Adam Howell's Odysee Smear Machine: Extortion, Defamation & the Keith Shingleton – Andrew Drummond Connection

How a convicted defamer, his right-hand man, and a compliant journalist weaponize video platforms for extortion, harassment, and reputational destruction.

Adam Howell has dramatically escalated activity on his Odysee channel @Soi6Whistleblower. What presents itself as whistleblowing on Pattaya's Soi 6 scene is, in reality, a coordinated extortion and harassment operation targeting ex-partners, their families, friends, business associates, and anyone who refuses to comply with his demands.

Howell uses Odysee — along with mirrors on Rumble, BitChute, and other fringe platforms — to flood the internet with dozens of videos packed with sensational, evidence-free accusations of human trafficking, fraud, drug smuggling, and worse. The objective is not justice or public safety. It is to pressure victims into silence, financial settlement, or total submission after personal or business relationships turn sour. This is not journalism or whistleblowing. It is a proven, repeatable playbook of criminal defamation, fabricated police reports, and systematic reputational destruction — and it has already resulted in a criminal conviction.

The Convicting Video: "Night Wish Group Human Trafficking – A True Story"

The clearest evidence of Howell's methods remains live on his Odysee channel to this day: the video titled "Night Wish Group Human Trafficking – A True Story". In this video, Howell accuses Bryan Flowers and the Night Wish Group of operating a child sex-trafficking ring in Pattaya, Thailand. The allegations were extreme, graphic, and designed to cause maximum reputational damage.

Thai authorities investigated. The claims were found to be fabricated. No evidence of any kind was produced to substantiate the allegations.

On August 28, 2025, a Thai court convicted Adam Howell of criminal defamation under Section 326 of the Thai Criminal Code. He received a six-month suspended prison sentence. The victims have appealed this light sentence and submitted evidence of further harassment (Adam has since fled to Dubai) — but the video that triggered it remains publicly accessible on his channel, continuing to cause harm to the victims named in it. He uploaded this video again, just after he fled to Dubai.

The conviction has not slowed Howell down. If anything, it has emboldened him. Since the ruling, he has started uploading videos again, produced new videos targeting additional individuals, and repeating the false accusations. He now faces:

    • An active civil defamation lawsuit filed by Bryan Flowers and others seeking damages for the ongoing harm caused by these videos.
    • At least three additional criminal charges for filing false allegations with multiple police departments — accusations of fraud, drug smuggling, and human trafficking made without a shred of supporting evidence.

The legal walls are closing in, yet the campaign continues. Every new upload is another act of defiance against the Thai court that already found him guilty — and another potential criminal offence.

Keith Shingleton: The Operational Right-Hand Man

Adam Howell does not operate alone. Keith Shingleton, based in Alberta, Canada, has been Howell's most consistent collaborator since at least 2017. Shingleton's role in the smear campaigns is operational and technical — he is the infrastructure behind the public-facing attacks.

The partnership is well-documented across multiple ventures:

    • SuperDoge rug pull: Shingleton served as COO from December 2021 to December 2022, helping raise funds from investors before the project collapsed and the website vanished. He claims on LinkedIn to have raised over $500,000 for charities — a figure with zero verifiable proof.
    • DopeCoin pump-and-dump schemes: Shingleton has been named in rebrand announcements and is tagged in personal posts with Howell, confirming a relationship that extends far beyond casual business acquaintance.
    • Smoke Exchange ICO: Shingleton co-authored the whitepaper alongside Howell for this cannabis advertising platform that raised investor money and never delivered its promised product.

In the context of the Odysee smear campaigns, Shingleton provides critical behind-the-scenes support:

    • Scripting and production: Helping craft the narrative structure of defamatory videos to maximise shock value and search engine visibility.
    • Cross-platform distribution: Republishing videos across multiple platforms after takedowns, ensuring removed content reappears within hours.
    • Sock accounts and amplification: Operating anonymous accounts to spread content through social media, review sites, and forums, creating the illusion of organic public interest.
    • Permanent archiving: Using Odysee's decentralised infrastructure as a "permanent" hosting solution because content on blockchain-based platforms is significantly harder to remove than on YouTube or Facebook.

Together, Adam Howell and Keith Shingleton have produced and distributed over 84 defamatory videos. When platforms remove content, it was uploaded to other platforms within days. The Odysee channel functions as the central archive — the one location they believe cannot be touched. Even Rumble, BitChute, and PeerTube removed the vile videos that they created.

The pattern from crypto fraud to defamation campaigns is identical: lure people in with promises, extract what you can, and when disputes arise, destroy reputations to prevent accountability.

The Andrew Drummond Connection: Journalistic Cover for Defamation

Video platforms alone are not enough for Howell's operation. To give his fabricated allegations the appearance of credibility, he feeds material directly to hired pen and fake British journalist Andrew Drummond, who has built a 15 year reputation for smear campaigns against Thailand expats, most of them are innocent, but Andrew Drummond just listens to who pays him.

Drummond's poorly written articles have repeatedly published Howell's claims as though they were independently verified facts. His bias rants on Night Wish Group, Soi 6 operators, bar operators, Pattaya expats, forum members and related subjects rely on Howell as a primary source. No meaningful fact-checking is evident. No right of reply is sought from the accused. The allegations are simply presented as journalism.

This creates a devastatingly effective self-reinforcing loop:

    1. Howell produces the defamatory video with sensational accusations and uploads it to Odysee.
    2. Howell feeds the same material to Drummond, who publishes an article presenting the claims as an "investigation."
    3. Howell then cites Drummond's article in subsequent videos as "independent media coverage," lending false credibility to his own fabrications.
    4. Shingleton amplifies both — the video and the article — across social media, forums, and anonymous accounts.

The result is a closed loop of defamation that appears, to anyone casually searching the internet, to be legitimate investigative reporting backed by multiple sources. In reality, every thread leads back to the same convicted defamer: Adam Howell.

This collaboration transforms personal vendettas into what looks like credible journalism. It is a smear network engineered to intimidate, exhaust, and ultimately extort targets into compliance — and Drummond's participation gives it a veneer of legitimacy that standalone Odysee videos could never achieve on their own.

The Extortion Playbook: How It Works, Step by Step

Across multiple incidents and victims, a clear and repeatable pattern has emerged. This is the playbook that Adam Howell, Keith Shingleton, and their network follow:

    1. A personal or business relationship breaks down.
The trigger is almost always financial — Adam starts demanding more money from partners and he looks for any excuse he can to start a fight, if someone dares to ask for a payrise or more % or someone bans him from a business for disruption, Adam usually blows up at them, and he torches everything to the ground, his attitude is he will rather destroy everything. He has destroyed 5-6 businesses already and has caused hundreds of people to lose their jobs, innocent people with mouths to feed. Howell's extensive history of crypto scams (SuperDoge, DopeCoin, Smoke Exchange, rebill schemes) provides a long trail of broken relationships and aggrieved counterparties.
    2. False allegations are filed with police.
Howell files reports with multiple Thai police departments, accusing the target of serious crimes — human trafficking, fraud, drug smuggling. No evidence is provided. The purpose of these reports is to get people falsely arrested and he accuses them of stealing millions of USD, the idea is that they would get no bail and they would have to spend 3-6 years proving their innocence from Thai jail, he also paid a corrupt retired police guy to try and pressure honest police men to throw people in jail.
    3. Sensational videos are produced and uploaded.
Videos appear on Odysee, Rumble, BitChute, and other platforms with titles engineered for maximum shock value and search engine ranking: "Human Trafficking – A True Story," "Scam Exposed," "The Truth About [Target's Name]." Content is scripted for emotional impact, not factual accuracy.
    4. The amplification network activates.
Shingleton distributes the content across platforms. Anonymous accounts flood social media, Facebook, Quora, Reddit, and Thailand forums. Drummond publishes companion articles. Within days, the target's name is surrounded by fabricated allegations across multiple channels.
    5. Pressure is applied — directly or implicitly.
Victims face reputational destruction, lost business, family harassment, and mounting legal costs. The implied — and sometimes explicit — message is clear: "Pay up, apologise publicly, or this never stops."The campaign deliberately expands to the target's friends, family, and business associates to maximise pressure.
    6. Content is re-uploaded after every takedown.
When platforms remove videos for policy violations, they reappear on alternative platforms within days. Odysee's decentralised architecture makes it the preferred permanent archive. The message to targets is unmistakable: "We will never stop."

This is not a one-off incident or a personal dispute that escalated. It is a systematic, repeatable extortion operation that has been refined over years and deployed against multiple victims.

A Public Warning: What You Should Know and What to Do If Targeted

Adam Howell is a convicted criminal defamer with a documented history of financial fraud who now weaponises video platforms, fabricated police reports, and compliant media contacts to destroy the reputations of anyone who crosses him. Keith Shingleton provides the operational and technical infrastructure. Andrew Drummond provides the journalistic cover. Together, they have built a smear machine that is designed to be permanent, pervasive, and impossible to ignore.

If you or someone you know has been targeted by @Soi6Whistleblower videos, has received demands from Adam Howell or his associates, or has faced sudden false allegations from unknown sources, take the following steps immediately:

    1. Document everything. Screenshots, timestamps, URLs, financial records, messages, and any communication from Howell, Shingleton, or their network. Preserve evidence before it can be altered or deleted.
    2. Report to platforms and law enforcement. File takedown requests with Odysee, Rumble, BitChute, and any platform hosting the content. Report false allegations to Thai police — authorities have already acted once and secured a conviction.
    3. Consult a defamation lawyer. Engage a legal professional experienced in cross-border defamation and digital harassment. Thai courts have demonstrated willingness to prosecute these cases, and civil remedies are available in multiple jurisdictions.
    4. Warn your network. These campaigns deliberately target friends, family, and business associates to maximise pressure on the primary victim. Alert the people around you so they are not blindsided.
    5. Do not engage directly. Any response — especially emotional or angry — will be recorded, edited, and used in future videos. Communicate only through legal representatives.

The purpose of adamhowellwarning.com is straightforward: to expose these tactics so that fewer people fall victim to the same extortion playbook. Adam Howell, Keith Shingleton, and their network rely on silence, fear, and the assumption that victims will eventually give up. Persistent documentation and public accountability are the most effective defences.

The evidence is mounting. The convictions are on record. The campaign continues — but so does the pushback. Stay vigilant, protect your evidence, and know that you are not alone.
